I think right now with Bayless and Bradley out, plus Rondo not quite back this is about how good we should be. We have no one besides Green who can create his own shot and Green rarely does. You can't win many games if you can't score.

On a lot of those shots Green was firing up in the first half, he wasn't even close.  We actually have no one who can create their own shot..which is one of the reasons why the record is as poor as it is.

I'm sure we are better than this, however, we're tanking and either the players have given  up and don't care or are feeding into the tanking by not competing at their own level.

Some may not think much of AB and Sullinger but they're still two of our best players.

Rondo is hobbling and on a limits restriction and recovering. Sans AB and an injured Sullinger who is clearly not himself, only JG has the ability to carry the team but hasn't.

Seeing the players in the lineup we have...We have no reason being any better than this. We aren't tanking, just playing to our potential. A bunch of role players and young non experience guys trying to build chemistry when they probably won't be playing together past this year.

If Philly beats us tomorrow we will have the 3rd worst record in the league.   That's pretty exciting to some of us.  I think we are playing exactly to our talent level overall after an overachieving start.  Only Orlando and the Bucks have clearly worse rosters than the Celtics.  Philly could go either way depending on how MCW is playing and if he is injured or not.

Yep. Sorry people but they are not better than this... this is a deeply flawed roster on purpose, DA has a plan made up of draft picks and expiring contracts. I don't think we're going to overtake Orlando and the Bucks but I could see us being the 3rd worst in the league by seasons end especially if we sell at the deadline. Thought tonight was bad, it's only going to get worse. But come a year from now when rookie Parkers putting up 20 a night for us or Embiid is blocking everything it'll be worth it. Come on top 3 pick!

Not only do they not create their own shot but they're not good enough shooters to hit anything consistently. One of Ainge's big failings is a failure to draft or sign any offensive threats to supplement the big 3 as they aged. I like "smart" players and defensive guys but at some point you need to be able to put the ball in the hoop.

What we saw this month is what we will see much of the rest of the way. This roster has poor talent like I have been saying all along. There is upside to who we have but it will not be able to compete for playoffs unless we get help from FA, trades, and/or draft picks (combination of all three probably).  This blow up should have happened after 2012 not after last summer.

It really boils down to offense. This team would win "some" more games if it had an offensive threat. They just don't.

Really, 8 solid complementary players in need of two stars.

Tonight is really one of the few wipeouts this season...hey they krushed the nix last time...payback.

This is how weak the Celtic's shooting is. Chris Johnson from the D league is lighting it up. He is their "threat."...Yeeouch.

Our roster was a mess coming in, overperformed, and was then made a worse mess by design via DA's trades along with some injuries along the way. Also Rondo came back and is clearly another 6-9 months away from full recovery, but is in training camp mode with a lot of new faces.

Welcome to tankworld. What's especially discouraging is that we are by no means assured of a top 5 pick given the competitive landscape, hence look for another DA trade of Bass or Green or both to increase that probability.
