Anyone else frustrated w the team right now? I know they are not supposed to be that good and losses bring us closer to a good pick, but they are playing like junk right now and I think they should be better than this.
  There were times earlier in the season when they'd get into an offensive flow and score 40 pts in a quarter. Last night it seemed like they could barely get a basket. I went from thinking Stevens was pretty good to wondering about him.
  Getting killed at home by OKC without Durant and Westbrook is pathetic. Last night Brooklyn couldnt score at all and there was an opportunity to get a nice win and they played like they've never played together before. missed layups, no cohesion. I guess rondo's still rusty, but whoa, they look horrible right now. These guys are not all scrubs, they're all capable of scoring if put in the right positions. Even the D leaguer Johnson looks like he can play.
 It's not being put together properly right now. probably i guess rondo and stevens just need time to work it out but it's so frustrating. This team is not this bad talent wise.
I can accept that they will lose a lot but I don't think there should be excuses for being this bad.

I'm inclined to agree.

We're much more competitive than I thought we would be. I really thought we be clearly outmatched on most nights but coach Stevens has this team playing hard. If we executed better in the 4th quarter, we'd have about 5 more wins.  With that said, this team was built to tank, so we seem to be chugging right along.

As an aside, I don't believe that Stevens' offense isn't really designed to take advantage of NBA level athleticism--which is really our only 'advantage' over most teams.

This group is careening, it would appear, toward the acceptance of less-than-top effort, and that's a cancer that has to be nipped now.

well at least Rondo is almost back , 30 minutes - 13 pt, 8 reb and 8 ast...5th game back and he is almost back to form and being Mr. Triple Double again

Except for a few games, they're keeping it close. Especially considering that right now one of our best players is a
D-leaguer on his second 10-day contract. We have no shooting guards because they are injured and a soft front line.

I do think there's about 4 or 5 games that should have been their's especially considering they had late leads. I really want them to win tomorrow though against NY. Melo is in a groove and I want them to take that away.

also i think stevens offense is good, a lot like san antonio team game ideas
we are lacking outside shooting and still have logjam at pf spot, injuries as well
i'm happy with them competing in most games, rondo just got back

not sure on game to game minutes with stevens, he must put a lot of pt into how guys play at practice and how they are playing for that game
i expect a different look next year be it trades or drafts, i think ainge has us set up nicely with expirings, draft picks and trade potential
can he make it all work will be the question

I agree with you. They should be better, because the talent isn't as bad as a the record. Even though I think they should be better, I still think Stevens is a good coach. But I don't know why...

I agree with most others that this team over-achieved earlier in the season. The recent losses are to be expected, considering our level of talent.

I also agree with CoachBo, though, that there have been a lot of bad habits starting to show.

Yeah, Rondo is not himself yet. He doesn't have that explosive quickness that allows him to get into the paint and cause opposing defenses to collapse on him. Creating passing lanes and offensive opportunities both for himself and his teammates in the process.

He looks like a 33-35 year old PG out there so far. Without that explosive quickness that is so important to his game. Not a dominant player right now. A good player but not a dominant one.

Yeah Rondo looked better, but he didn't have the ability penetrate still unless the defense was really napping.
