Rondo won't be the player he was until next December, if he ever is. TA example was good, and we saw KG in the 2009-2010 season and how he improved a year after coming back from injury.
Then, everybody is entitled to their opinions, so if LarBrd33 thinks Rondo is a top 50 PG in the NBA, I'll disagree, but I don't think he's going to change his opinion. Rondo has been a top 10 jersey seller in the NBA for the past 3 seasons, and his playoff performance is better than any current PG in the NBA.
He's not a good reliable shooter, his FT shooting is underwhelming, but he's great at everything else. He's not perfect, but Danny Ainge isn't trading him for peanuts. So unless some GM goes crazy and offers a huge return for Rondo, he's staying in Celtic green until July, maybe his entire career.
Trade deadline can't come soon enough. Go Celtics!
