I think this is a trade idea, rather than a rumor.
I hope so. Monroe isn't a guy who interests me very much.
I was really high on him coming out of the draft, and after his rookie year. Unfortunately, he hasn't really developed at all since then, and he's allergic to defense.
He could definitely still be a helpful player for a team, but I don't think a Sully / Monroe front court would be all that impressive.
I'm in agreement here as he has pretty much leveled off. I also think of him as more of a PF than C.
He's consistently played better as a C.

The guy is also one heck of a rebounder. He already has a
15 and 17 game.
Rim protection is nice but its not eveything. Just ask Memphis and SA. I rather have rebounding, especially grabbing most of the difficult defensive rebounds vs having shot blocking presence
Also if Rim protection is so important, Detroit wouldn't be where they are today with Drummond.
