  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
As when we gave up Al Jefferson for KG, Jared Sullinger will have to be given up for Kevin Love. But Kevin Love high risk - high reward.

Me, I'd go Sully, Jeff Green, Faverani, Brooklyn's 2014 1st and our 2015 first for Love and Robbie Hummel (so we get a replacement SF).

So for the T-Wolves, they get an up and coming PF, a starter level SF, a legitimate backup Center and two first rounders.

For us, we get top 20 player, high reward.

The gamble part comes with his contract, it's a bit worrisome as we don't know if he would like to stay in Boston but, we have a year to figure it out. If we get Kevin Love to love (no pun) playing here, he might stay and we'll have a core moving forward of. If all indications are he's leaving, then trade him next season and acquire assets. We may not get back the same value as Green and Sully for him, but that's the high risk we need to take if we trade for Love.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

sounds about right...personally I would like to avoid trading Jeff as well, as he gives us a good 3rd option scoring. However, if need be, I will give Green up as well...as you said, Love is a top 20 player, you must jump on that

Love only makes sense if you can pair him with a defensive-minded center. That means they go after Gasol as well.

It's not impossible for the Celtics to have enough cap space in 2015 to sign a player as a FA outright if they don't re-sign Bradley. Then they could deal draft picks + Sullinger + Wallace or Green expiring for the other star piece and have Rondo + two max guys.

He averages more than 25 points per game. That's got to be some quite freakish streaks :)

And 13 rebounds per game. I can't believe how badly people are undervaluing Kevin Love. I don't think the Celtics have anything the Timberwolves would be interested in without offering multiple 1st round picks. This isn't happening.

Going  be hard to beat the Lakers , with Kobe in his ear already,  and the Lakers standing there with a Max contract in there hands and Love is wanting the CA life.......it's all in Mitch's plans,  ever since Howard walked .....knew Love would be the new target .i suspect they will trade Gasol and their 2015 first round pick for Love

So id say its about done ......unless somebody like Cuban can talk him out of LA

LA =. Warm and sunny for the beach boy at heart .......Boston =. Snow , rain, cold .....and sorry folks somewhat dull.

I think he is good as gone to LA.,  unless Wolves trade him for Lottery pick or stars.

That is what I was thinking for a package.

Than trade Bass + other pieces/picks for Asik

Rondo
AB
Wallace/FA/draft pick
Love
Asik

Good team, if somehow you turn AB and pieces into Hayward than we are really on the move. ;)

Lakers do not own their 2015 pick and cannot trade any future 1st round pick until 2019.

They can pre-arrange a draft day trade, but those are not easy to do.  If Minny insists on picks, LA will be hard pressed to have the salary to match in trade. They would be better off just waiting to sign Love as a FA.

Trade Sully and Get Love..I don't get it. Sully is a 20/20 waiting to happen...again...and he's got a wicked mean streak. He's meaner than Perk. You see his fouls? I been watching Sully all year like Danny and Wyc..they got a lottery kid who needed an operation. Now the 20/20's an happen anytime and a wicked foul can happen everytime.  Love is not an enforcer and Love and Sully would give the Pacers a headache and bruises. Trading one to get the other makes no sense to me it's 2 steps forward 1 step back.

This is EXACTLY WHY we have all the picks in the first place!!!!

There is ZERO chance we are going to actually make all these picks. They are all chips to get a guy like Love. He's far and away the most likely guy for us to target and no one can offer the picks and cap flexibility that we can.

Rondo
Bradley
Parker/Wiggins
Love
Asik

Very very possible for this to happen.

C's don't have enough assets to get Love...Only player a team would want is Sullinger? And I bet teams are still nervous about his back.  That's the why the C's need to nail this draft and acquire more assets if they want to trade for a superstar...

Honestly, I'm not in love with Love.

He's a phenomenal scorer and rebounder. He's a mediocre at best defender though. He doesn't seem to be capable of elevating the play of his teammates either.

Now, I do think he'd be brilliant next to Rondo on offense, but the C's better have a plan to get legit defensive stoppers at center and on the wing.

I'm not against keeping Sully and I do like his physical style of play. At this point IMO Love is a big upgrade over Sully, but maybe a year from now they are the same value?

If Sully is our PF of the future than great, one less hole to fill. :)
