at this point, I'm starting to question Doc's coaching. Under Doc, Lee didn't do much
Under Stevens, in short minutes, Lee was very efficient and now in Memphis, given 25+ minutes, he's really showing people what he can really do.
There's a reason why he was coveted two years ago, and why we are so happy that we signed with us. This is the real Courtney Lee. Doc really misused him as a ball handler and distributor and didnt give him enough minutes too, who probably got Lee's confidence shot down.
Agreed. Doc is D'Antoni-esque with his role player that way; he tries to make players fit into his system as opposed to adapting his system to fit his players.
