Good God, Lemon Danny, what have you done? But it makes sense when you think about it. The one thing the Grizz have been missing is outside shooting from a consistent "dynamic wing". I think there's been a study on good combos where the winningest combo in the NBA is a good big and a good wing (not entirely sure if it's a study, might actually be an opinion piece, but I do have some recollection of it being a study). Memphis has 5 good bigs...Lee fits like a glove for them. Good for Lee.This trade was good for everyone. This is good even for Bayless.Don't think the C's lost out. Lee is playing well because of fit. We still have 5, 6 guards with half of them not getting playing time.
I wonder if Houston is kicking themselves for not dealing us Asik. Lee, Bass plus a #1 seems to be a pretty solid return at this point.

I still think it's very stupid to allow Asik to sit when they're contending this year. Hope it comes back and haunts them.

Looking at Houston's cap, unless they're planning on giving Parsons a max deal, they should have the flexibility to re-sign him without a huge problem (and the same would be true if they had Lee).I must be overlooking something.
at this point, I'm starting to question Doc's coaching. Under Doc, Lee didn't do muchUnder Stevens, in short minutes, Lee was very efficient and now in Memphis, given 25+ minutes, he's really showing people what he can really do.
