Right now, the Celtics are going through a brutal stretch of the season and appear to be in good position for a fire sale provided Rondo is kept out of the lineup. This competitive losing is a forerunner to more bad basketball usually and results in a bottom out process before things get better. We have lost twice this year to Milwaukee so the potential to get worse is there. My guess is that more talent via the draft is on the way but what to do with the likes of Avery Bradley, Brandon Bass, and Jordan Crawford remains ot be seen. The ball remains in Danny Ainges court as to where to take this team.

Like, maybe, headers for the columns? Or at least a link to where you grabbed the Data?

I mean, the wins/losses and the streaks and the winning percentages I get, but it'd be nice to see what the other ones actually stand for.

  I'll go out on a limb and guess ESPN standings, wins, losses, %, home, away, vs winning teams, vs losing teams, pf, pa, streak, last 10. Although the only reason I tried to figure that out was your post, I kind of glazed over the numbers when I saw them.

we are headed for a top 5 pick just like i originally predicted before the start of the season. We saw some fools gold for awile but that is only because stevens has done a tremendous job with little talent. we are really lucky to even have 10 wins right now. much less 13.

I think we still end up somewhere between the 8th and 10th worst record. 

I'm more curious about how the Atlanta/Nets situation works out.  Hawks without Horford and Nets with Lopez should have them both in the bottom half of the playoff teams--assuming the other 'decent' teams continue to right their ships as the season continues

I am with you on this one.  C's will pick in the top 5, Rondo will help but not enough to make a huge difference.  The Knicks and Nets have figured it out and they won't catch the Raptors now, already 7 games out...

Sac and Cleveland should improve. Orlando, Milwaukee and us will fall to the bottom three. I see Philly staying up there unless they bench MCW and Turner every game. Barring a historic return by Rondo, I'm seeing us in the bottom five but probably not higher than 3.

22 would be even better.  That would take us to the 35 win mark that I've been hoping since the off-season.
