I don't think there's any package we could put together that would land Durant.

Durant's probably more untouchable than Lebron right now only because Bron has shown he'll ditch a team for a more-promising new team.

Yup. I dont think there's much of a package anybody could put together for Durant right now.

I'd put more weight in the fact that his no-way-trade status comes largely from the fact that he's significantly younger than LeBron.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

To change the subject slightly, Durant is somewhat quietly putting together one of the best statistical seasons ever.

He's averaging 30/8/5, essentially. The big change over the last two years for Durant has been his playmaking which has really improved.

He's pretty close to a 50/40/90 which is amazing considering his shooting volume. He's around 1.5 spg and 1 bpg.

For comparison, the closest match to Durant's year statistically is probably Bird's 1987-1988 campaign:

That was perhaps the best season ever statistically for an SF (along with LB's own 1986-1987 season), at least until Lebron came along. Durant is pretty close to those numbers, even outranking LB on TS% and getting pretty close in terms of rebounding and assist percentages.

Lebron's having his own amazing year, particularly from a shooting efficiency standpoint, but I feel like Durant is getting under-appreciated if that's possible.
