Ben Gordon's career to date has been muuccccch better than Eric Gordon's. Eric Gordon's got talent, but he's injury prone. I doubt he'll ever be able to put it together honestly, and he hasn't been able to match Ben Gordon's level of work from the Bulls. Ben Gordon was a beast on the Bulls. He wasn't some inefficient chucker. He's been pretty bad since he left there, though.
Just felt like pointing that out especially since Eric Gordon has done absolutely nothing in his career so far. That poster was posting about the wrong Gordon, though, I know that.
Did you actually look at their career stats before posting? They actually have pretty similar stats. Except Eric Gordon's highs in pretty much every category are higher than Ben's. Eric is also higher in eFG%, TS%, and Per over his career.
So Ben Gordon was a one dimensional gunner, though he did it very well a few years in Chicago. Eric Gordon was able to do the same scoring, while also doing other things and while doing it at a more efficient rate.
So, no, Ben Gordon's career is not way better. Perhaps Eric Gordon has been overhyped, but not near as much as Ben Gordon was.
