I cannot name one person on either WEEI or the SportsHub that knows the first thing about the NBA. I tend to avoid those shows where they try to discuss the Celtics. It's quite a painful mix of the obvious, wrong, and just plain useless stuff.
I don't listen much to either station any more, but Mike Holley used to know basketball decently enough when he had a postgame show on CSN a couple years ago. Is he still on in primetime on EEI? I couldn't even tell you for certain. Can anybody comment on how his basketball knowledge/insight has been lately?
He does the afternoon with recent addition Mike Salk, but that's pretty unpalatable, mostly because Salk is Minihane v2.0.
