Kaleb Tarczewski doesn't look too bad, either.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Older clip but just really impressed with aaron gordon. Arizona beat ucla and still undefeated. I wouldnt be surprised if he gets chosen in the top 10 by 2014 draft day. If we got him , iwould be ecstatic

The usual suspects are high on my wish list: Exum, Parker and Embiid. Jahii Carson seems like a nice guy to pick up if we get 14-16 pick from Atlanta.

Been impressed with Kyle Anderson of UCLA and Jordan Clarkson of Missouri with second pick and, if a second round pick could be acquired, Aaron Craft  of Ohio St who is probably the most entertaining and enjoyable player I have watched over the past four years.... although there was a report he was going to bypass the NBA for med school

Having watched the first half of Arizona vs Ucla last night I have a few observations

Bill Walton
is a great basketball announcer.

Aaron Gordon looks to have a similar game to Al-Farouq Aminu, he isnt as big of long but more explosive. If he doesn't develop a perimeter skill set I see a similar player. For better and Worse. Though hearing walton glow about his perceived intelligence give me hope for his development.

Zach LaVine looks athletic but very physically under developed. He should really stay another year before going pro.

Kyle Anderson to skilled not to make it in the NBA. Has the skill set of a young Lebron James and the physical tools of the Miami Heat version of Antaine walker. The fact that he is so long 7'2.5" reach and has a 9' reach may save him and allow him to defend in the NBA. I would take a flyer on him mid first round.

Gordon looks like a top pick. Not sure how he falls out of the top ten. Good motor and really athletic. His height might be a factor at the next level.

Not sure what to think about Lavine. Didn't do too much, but the kid is really quick, smooth, and seems to have good range with his shot. Lavine might actually be more suited for the NBA. Got a L Spreewell type body, minus choking out his coach.

I would be happy with any of the top 7. Would like to add some length and athleticism to our team.

DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I really like watching Anderson play. The best player comp i have heard is Boris Diaw. They are hybrid 3/4 players with long arms, look slow, shoot just ok, pass really well, and have a good feel for the game.

Interesting on standings:

If Cleveland (Cle @ Uta), Philly (Det @ Phi), and Sac (Orl @ Sac) win tonight, and we lose, we're sitting at 4th worst record in the league.

Interesting stuff.  We may well end up with a top 5 pick after all.

On the AZ-UCLA game; Sure he probably won't stay, but Gordon sure could use another year in school.  Anderson is as very skilled guy, but lacks some athleticism, to my eye, so I don't know how he'll translate at the NBA level.  Too bad Nick Johnson of AZ (DJ's nephew)is only 6'2.  Great feel for the game, but at that size and not really being a PG, I don't know that there's a place for him in the league.

I feel the same way about Nick Johnson, he does has a decent wingspan so he might have a shot of making it as a bench combo guard.

Don't know about the other games ......one thing I can tell you ........you can bank o the Celtics getting the mud beat out of them.

Problem is they got a tank lead on us......they are as bad or worse than Celtics .....we can 't help them win unless we play them ...... ;D

At the same age, Boris was much more athletic.  Even after, what, 40 pounds, Boris still moves well enough to be a fine defender.  I can't see Anderson doing that.

Anderson reminds me of Luke Walton with more height, length and much better ballhandling ability.

Wayne Selden has looked really good in the first half against Kansas State.  He's just being much more aggressive instead trying to be the consummate, unselfish teammate.  He's also shown some of the flashy passing I've read about.  He's looking a bonafide NBA prospect.

Maybe the biggest change has been in his shooting mechanics.  He used to bring the ball up over his head.  Now his stroke is more classic looking.  This is actually pretty stunning since when do players actually change their stroke during the season and take to it really well?  Good for him and good for Kansas coaches not being afraid to "tweak" the game of a high recruit.

Jerami Grant quietly looking like a 10-20 SF prospect to keep an eye on.

He is raw offensively but extremely athletic , bouncy like Kenneth Faried. Right now he mainly just rebounds, block shots, plays excellent defense (can save others with his shot blocking capabilities) and scores mainly on dunks, alley hoops and putbacks. But still just doing these things is scoring about 12-14 pts, 8-9 rebounds, 2 blocks a game.

Whenever I wonder who Ainge is gonna take with the worst of the BKN/ATL pick, my head always comes back to Wayne Selden. He just looks like one of those, "I'm gonna average 12 points 3 rebounds and 3 assists and play good man-D at the 2 for the next 12 years' kinda guys. Like a slightly worse Wes Matthews. Great effort, good athleticism, willing to not be 'the man', which is a good thing sometimes.
