Not unless they can get his trade value way up.
Here are the things that lower his trade value well under what his on the court value would be:
- He is out with a big injury
- He is a PG in a league that has a lot of good PGs (because of rule changes)
- His contract is up after next season.
Rondo, once healthy, is worth more to the Celtics as a player then he is as a trade chip.
