Is this stretch tougher? Or is the November stretch tougher?

That November was already kind of brutal.

I just checked out the schedule for Toronto, NY, and BK in January.  I could see Toronto falling back a little bit with NY and BK aging some ground.  This could make for a very interesting second half of the season.  We could be within a few games of either having the division lead, or being in the lottery at that point too.  Then we get Rondo back.
You are right, it is a tough schedule for all four teams. I just dont see all four staying at the level they are playing at currently. I feel like NY will have a few players back healthy and the Nets will be playing together better by then. both of them just have too much talent and Toronto is already playing better than we are.
I think the key is how those 3 other teams fare during January mores than how the C's fare.  As much as I want to see the C's play well and win as much as they can, I really don't want to see them making the playoffs as a sub-500 team.  The thing is, I'm not so sure NH and/or Brooklyn will get it together sufficiently this year where they pass the C's.  too many injuries to those teams and just overall poor play regardless of the fact they have better talent on paper

Two wins, Fifteen Losses. I predict all kinds of ugliness and some nitwits calling for Ainge and Brad Stevens head and the tanking trolls chattering up a storm. The schedule is brutal and the Celtics lack of talent will show up next month. Those blown leads and the lack of a go to guy is an indication of lack of talent and experience. I sincerely hope I am wrong AND that the Celtics can hang in there and make these games competitive but there is an awful lot of firepower on those WC teams I am seeing through LP and Fox Sports Arizona.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

It's going to a very "Tankish".  Jan.

We drop to serious lottery territory........tied with Lakers, Bucks , Nets for last place.

my biggest prediction is - Rondo returns during the Nets game

emotional game

Pierce and KG returns to the garden with standing ovation
Rondo hugs Pierce and KG and also gets standing ovation

Celtics win that game by 20 :)

Rondo said he's unlikely to come back in January.  I think January will be a rough month.  Should put us in good lotto position.  Also, I just traded Rondo off my fantasy basketball team... so I'm fully on board with shutting him down for the rest of the season.

I love the optimism here at cb.  ;D

So I have them at 8-9 which is a tick under .500 which just so happens to coincide with the type of ball they have been playing since they were 0-4 on Nov. 6th. Since Nov.6 or almost for two whole months of basketball the Celtics have been 13-14. They had a pretty brutal stretch built into that schedule. This next month is brutal but I don't see this team suddenly stopping being a .500 team.

They will win most games they are supposed to win. They will lose most games they are supposed to lose. They will win a game here and there they are not supposed to win and probably lose a couple to three games here and there they are not supposed to lose.

So 8-9 sounds about right to me given their play over the last two months.

Let's see, C's can put up a 20-point lead and still lose games as witnessed in the past.

I'm going to say that they will blow six 20-point lead games and lose the game. Other games they will lose five because they've inferior.

6-11.

I'd agree with most of that, but I think we lose to the Raptors, who've been playing much better since they traded Rudy Gay, Nuggets, Wizards, and Knicks.  So 5-12.

I also have this irrational fear that both NY teams are going to piece it together during this month.

Wow the Bulls won, but did anyone see the Nets upsetting the Thunder or The Knicks beating the Spurs? How about Golden State beating the Heat? Strange night, but we are 0-1 to start the month. I really belived we would get past the Bulls here.

I don't know what the exact record will be, but the losses will outnumber the wins by a solid margin.

0-2 so far on games we really should have won. Now the real test without Rondo begins with a Western road trip. We have a shot here at 2-3 with a win in Denver and a win against the Chris Paul-less Clippers if he is really hurt and out for a while.
