I wonder if Sully's rebounding numbers would be even better if he played his natural PF position instead of C going against guys usually taller than him.  I don't remember Love ever having to play C for the Wolves if I remember correctly.

He actually has. But he has stated many times in game conferences that Center isn't his ideal position to play at all.

I don't think he'll ever eclipse over 12 RPG any season in his career, but he'll be at least somewhat 14-21 PPG and average at least 9 RPG in his prime.

14-21 ppg is an awfully wide range. It's pretty much the difference between being Kevin Love and being Glen Davis.

I'm not thrilled with a Kevin Love comparison because Love seems to have surpassed David Lee in putting up eye-popping stats that don't help his team win.  It's an unfair comparison, but KG dragged a lot of crappy T-pup teams into the playoffs and Love has utterly failed to do that despite his freakish fantasy numbers.

Don't like West though. Can't help think what could've been if he had chosen us over the Pacers that shortened season and thereafter.Good for him I Gus's, bad for us.

Don't hate on west for not coming to boston. He made a great choice obviously. I was a little bummed but he fits into the pacers lineup incredibly well. Love west ! He doesn't back down from anyone. Hibbert is the man too. He's one of those players

You're right. I too don't really dislike West, just the decision  he made, because he really could have helped us.  Jealousy, I guess.

If I remember, West could only come in a sign-and-trade (we were capped out and had only the mini-MLE).  We couldn't find anyone willing to take on JO's contract in a deal to facilitate West signing here, so I'm not sure that deal was ever truly an option.
