Same old passive Jeff Green if you ask me

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

From the start of the season til' now...

Solid start vs Raptors: happy
Same old inconsistent JG, pre-2012/13 second half: :(
Miami game: YEAH!
Inconsistent but better: okay...okay!
Back to back single digit games vs Min and HOU: sad, sadder than ever
Very, very solid stretch, yet still not assertive and dominant, from vs SAS to LAC: Promise! Maybe once he gets acquainted with the system...
NYK to DET awful scoring stretch: ehh...[dang] it...:(...at least he's rebounding. Growing pains.
Past two games: ^#&$*^%

I don't want him to chuck up shots like Melo, but once in a while it would be nice to see him get 25 shots just to let us know he's alive

echoing some posters above, green has been pretty much what many of us, and me, expected. enormously talented offensive player who just doesn't bring it each and every time he is on the court.

there is no excuse for him having nights with only 6-8 shots, failing injury. but those nights crop up once in a while.

so, talented, but not a leader...as advertised.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Jeff has played pretty much where I expected. He will never be a carry the offense star that some people where hoping for this year.

I think he and sully are both showing this year that they have the ability to be quality 3rd option type players who have moments where they look like allstars. I think this is Jeff's ceiling, Sully should be able to develop a step above this.

I saw some scenarios that had us trading Bass/Lee for Asik and Sully + Picks for Melo, giving us a team of:

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Melo
Asik

I would really like him in something like this as a second banana paired with a prolific scorer and a pass first PG.  He would be wide open all game.  On a team like what we have no though, it's hard to really gauge what we have.

Let's switch to anther guy. Kelly Olynyk - exactly what I expected so far. Career bench player at best.

One interesting takeaway from the Pacers game today, at least the first half--how George and Green both have a tendency to turn nearly invisible on the floor for long stretches at a time.

Ridiculous. Must be based on 1 game. George is 23, one of the single best defenders in the league, is averaging 23.9/5.9/3.6 (.412 from 3 and .857 ft), and in that game put up a 24/5/2 in 28 minutes on 9/13 shooting. He's about 5 steps above Green, they don't belong in the same conversation.

Actually D.o.s. is right. George has been a massive second half player this year leading the league in 2nd half scoring. He often seems to be cruising in first half of games like he is conserving energy for his 2nd half.

Maybe George is lulling guys to sleep in the first half so he can attack in the second half.

Jeff lulls them asleep in both. ;D

I feel like Green is what most people were saying he was, since what he is doing now is more of what he always did.
