JuJuan 2.0 I mean KO living up to be a complete stiff catch the freaking ball

Let me see you go from college, to catching passes from Craw, AB, and Pressey then get a fast one from RAJON FREAKIN RONDO and let's see how well you do! He has never been passed to by better! He will be ready once he learns that RR will pass them hot out of NOWHERE! He's still a kid! Give him time to learn.

Don't mind him.  There's always at least ONE know-it-all critic just waiting to jump on our guys if they don't turn out looking like superstars from Day 1.  Not to mention it's just a scrimmage with Rondo on his first day back.  I didn't see a lot of full speed plays from anybody.
his wording may have been poor but he has a point. watching KO fumble the ball while making moves/catching passes gets quite tiresome and he has every right to criticize. we are not professional athletes. it is not expected of us to catch these passes. KO is. We are merely fans on a basketball blog. also last time i checked catching a pass doesnt make you a superstar, it's kind of a basic skill to have in the game of basketball. a skill KO needs to improve upon

You know, reading your post it occurs to me that part of what makes a great pass a great pass is how easy it is for the intended target to catch it.

But I don't think that's what happened here--KO flubbed both of those. Just like every other big learning to play with Rondo.

It's not that Rondo's passes are hard to catch, it's that he makes passes that nobody else does and people who haven't played with him much aren't ready for the pass. When the Celts had Bird you'd always hear about new players taking a few of his passes off the side of their heads until they got used to looking for his passes. The same happens with Rondo. He's been doing drills with the team but KO's been out with an injury for much of it.

Right. I thought that's where I was going with what I said?
