I'm starting to buy into this "winning" thing, however, the 19th and 20th picks are the most depressing thing I've read in a while. People drinkingthe Kool aid make these comments like Rondo at 20 Sully, Bradley etc. and then have the audacity to think Kevin Love will magically arive on our doorstep.
First- there is no guarantee that we will have luck in the Draft regardless of the pick, but everyone knows our chances are a lot higher if we at least get in that elusive "8-10" range.
Secondly- Kevin Love is not walking through that door without at least one more superstar beyond Rondo, and I don't see Asik or the diamond in the rough that magically slips to us at 19/20 being that guy.
I do think- that an Asik trade actually sets us back a step as he won't replace the production that we'll lose (if it's bass & lee) so I'm actually warming to this Luke warm player.
Basically, a win - win for me would be continued success and still cracking at least the top ten picks. Maybe I'm a dreamer
