C's future should be win now

I know people all over this forum are talking about trades,tanking and etc. But I really want to throw my view on this celtics teams future and on Danny Ainge. I honestly believe maybe tanking was in mind preseason but now that brad Stevens and the celtics have over achieved in many peoples views but I think this has helped the celtics. Danny ainge really is a win now gm now I believe, after getting ray and kg I believe he sees the bigger picture and wants to pursue creating a new big 3. He may not have what he had for assets as he did before but it's definitely possible. In order to keep rondo he needs to build fast. I know nobody on CB wants Carmelo but I think hes boston bound, he's clearly the best AVAILABLE, closest nba player to superstar status that might be able to get on the cheap. Meaning he's already said he's gonna opt out to test waters so sign and trade is easily attainable on the somewhat cheap, cause at least Knicks will get smt in return if he decided to walk out. I would love to keep Jeff green with rondo n melo but I know most likely that won't happen. Next player they will get is wide open.. I wouldn't go with Kevin love.. If you could keep green would go with asik.. Rondo Bradley green melo asik would be a contender without question.. This draft is stacked but unless u have a lebron proven player coming out the draft is a risk, we can prob name plenty of top ten picks that are riding the pine or oversees. Sorry this is so long, just tryinh to put it all out there, I believe ainge has something up his sleeve that's the opposite of a rebuild.. He wants to keep the fan base he regained not lose them.. Tickets are so cheap and easy to come by, not even close to the last few years

Reading a wall of tiny text is really tiresome.

  He's not criticizing you, he's offering useful advice. People (like me or him) are more likely to read what you post if you break it into paragraphs. It's nothing personal, and I've posted the same thing (use paragraphs) to other people.

I finished reading the post, and I think we should win now. When I posted earlier that this team was a playoff team most scoffed at the suggestion. How do you like them apples now?

Right now the best thing we have going for us is our coach. We are going to become an attractive destination for FAs that want to win.

I agree with the OP lets get some nice top tier talent in here and watch CBS get #18.

When the only response to a post [that has a good amount of substance in it] is to add paragraphs, I can see how that may be seen as criticism. One would be better off responding and then adding a small note at the bottom.

Obviously a lot of what he said has been said before, but I get the idea. Trade in your assets to win now - which makes sense if you can get any two of Carmelo, Aldridge, Monroe, Love, Gasol, etc...no no no to Asik, though. The Rockets made him a semi-star by giving him too much money. Why he is worth something and Bass / Green / even Crawford aren't is mind boggling. Like, the Millsap for Asik potential trade is a total joke.

Criticizing someones thoughts is something that is sounds like is worth a warning, you don't criticize their thoughts, you disagree and make a counter argument.

Also, all Pho Sita did was give you very good and relevant advice on how to format your posts. He did nothing to criticize you personally.

Guys I put a lol in my post I don't care that it can be taking as criticism, I actually don't understand the problem with criticism, it's a blog and people talk and post opinions, if people think opinions aren't gonna be criticized your crazy..

My original post about Jeff green actually wasn't even a critism I posted where are the Jeff green haters stand now that he's doing better and someone hit the block button cause he saw the word hater and panicked..

And I agree asik is overpaid.. But I put asik out there if you were to still keep green because together that lineup doesn't need a big 3, it's balanced.

Until I see the Celtics over 500, I will think making the playoffs is not in the Celtics best interest.

But making the playoffs just because the rest of the teams around you can't win is not the way to build towards the future.  It's a trap of being mediocre. 




I believe that Ainge, given time, can rebuild the Celtics into a true contender.  I don't want to see his ability to be hampered because of other teams ineffectiveness.

I guess my opinion on what criticism is varies from yours, mind you I pointed out and said I agree it was late night and etc.. But on this blog disagreeing on someone's opinion is taken as criticism and I think there's nothing wrong with a little criticism
