  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Offer Crawford, Wallace and Bass for Chris Bosh.  :)

Settle for Crawford, Hump and Bass for Chris Bosh.
But seriously, hasnt' there been rumors for a while that Miami can't afford all 3 of those guys and might look to trade Bosh for depth?

What realistically would it take to get Bosh?

We don't need Bosh at this stage in his career unless we can win now, and we can't.

Assuming the cHeat are willing to move Bosh (and i think that's a big assumption) we would need a 3rd team involved to give us some young assets/picks and who wants to compete NOW.

Houston is one such team that comes to mind. How's Howard/Bosh//Harden for a big three?

Houston gets Bosh and Cole.
cHeat get Hump, Bass and Crawford
Cs get Asik/Lynn and 2-3 of these 4: Smith, Jones, Parsons, Montejunas and/ or picks.

Any other teams out there that Bosh would elevate to contender status and has young assets/picks that woul interest us? Suns, Chicago, Cavs?

Bosh is 28 years old and will assumably leave the Heat or be traded. He'll want a long term deal and the Heat won't be able to afford the three stooges.
If we have Rondo now, why wouldn't we add Bosh?

I think we'd be a serious free agent player if we could guarantee Rondo and Bosh. Bosh is a better player than Aldridge in almost every category, he was a 25 and 12 guy in Toronto where he played center. He's been third fiddle in Miami and would easily be a 22/10 guy here with Rondo- his defense has improved immensely too.

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Sully
Bosh

Carmelo might wanna force his way to Boston with Rondo so we can then move Sully for a lottery pick if we want.

What would it take to get Bosh?
Humphries, Crawford, Brooks + 2 future first rounders. (we'd give them our own in 2015 and 17 most likely)
Essentially he could probably be had for 2 future first round picks lol.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

You guys seem to think that I want Oden. I want the chance to see what he can do up close, but it's more about getting two draft picks. Ainge has done very well finding talent in the draft.

I can't believe anyone would shed a tear losing Crawford for expiring money and a couple of 2nd rounders. Crawford's an expiring himself. He's been showcased for 25 games this season.

Does anyone really think that Ainge can get a 1st rounder for Jordan Crawford?

Or we might be able to keep Jordan Crawford and he'd be a basically perfect fit for our third guard?  Why are we trying to give him away for 2nd rounders?

You don't just trade any players because "Oh it's the last year of his contract!"  We have no idea what the demands are or how the market will shake out.

I'm not trying to beat a dead horse but really seems like some of you guys just can't possibly come to grips with the fact that he might be a good player.  I don't get any other reasoning.  Other than "expiring contract" madness because we are trying to think like armchair Bill Simmons-esque GMs instead of just relaxing and letting things play out instead of getting too cute.

If he walks on a reasonable offer from us at years end that's fine.  But Oden and 2nd rounders is laughable.  We already have enough picks, we need players.

If we could get a first or actual players who can actually play basketball then I can start talking about this.

Miami has nothing of value IMO that they can offer outaide of picks and expirings. And other teams may be able to offer the same thing.

Id wait. Miami should be the final phone call Danny must entertain.

Celtics should troll Ray Allen and ask for him in the trade..that would be a priceless press conference and some great acting on how he's glad to be back in green  ;D

I see your sig, and understand now.

Honestly, I just see an unrepentant chucker, whose highlight in Celtic green was mouthing off to Carmelo Anthony in last year's playoffs after a game he didn't appear in. Get something, anything for him.

C'mon now..even if you don't like the guy saying that that's his finest moment is just crazy. He's done some good things for the team and a lot of people in the league are noticing. When he was helping the team win was you still thinking about the Carmelo stuff or was you cheering him on..smh.

hahaha.  The sig and avatar are to troll the Crawford haters and it's working.

Player of the week, the best midrange shooter in the NBA.  These are the realities bud.  Start to love it!

He's been a positive player since he came to the team and I've enjoyed watching him.

But you're definitely right, the back to back defending champions are interested in a terrible player who only can talk mess from the bench, totally.  Makes sense.

We've been pleading for a professional auxiliary scorer for years, and we've finally, maybe, found our guy. But, no worries, let's trade him away for a couple of second round picks.

¡Ay dios mio!

for

Joel Anthony + James Jones + Roger Mason + future 1st

Done deal.

TP for you, Snakehead.  I'm a big Crawford fan also.  He should have played in the NBA during the 70's. He would have fit right in.

The reason people don't like him is because his zeitgeist is all wrong.
