When we get the right player for the right role, let's just go ahead and keep him.

Crawford might be that 3rd guard we need, and I'd like to see him play with Rondo, and continue to play with Bradley (making me a fan with his jumper).

We have a really nice 4-guard rotation; let's keep it.

Offer Crawford, Wallace and Bass for Chris Bosh.  :)

Settle for Crawford, Hump and Bass for Chris Bosh.
But seriously, hasnt' there been rumors for a while that Miami can't afford all 3 of those guys and might look to trade Bosh for depth?

What realistically would it take to get Bosh?

I'm fine with the idea of dealing him to Miami, we need to do anything that will improve our team long term. The problem with that idea is I don't know if Miami would have anything in a realistic deal we would want.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I'd take Greg Oden, the Philly 1st rounder (which probably ends up as a high 2nd in 2015 and another 2nd in 2016), and whatever filler contract is needed to balance the deal out (Jones or Lewis).

And I don't think twice.

Nah, you'd be giving up too much. Like I posted in the frontpage, offer them Wallace+Bogans+Crawford for Bosh and a future first. Just for the lulz.

Although that Oden+Norris Cole+ Minnesota 2nd rounder for Crawford isn't bad... but helping the cHeat just doesn't feel good.

Was gonna mention the Philly first rounder. What are the terms on it?

http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed

Quote
2014 first round draft pick from Philadelphia
Philadelphia's 1st round pick to Miami protected for selections 1-14 in 2014 or 1-14 in 2015; if Philadelphia has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Miami by 2015, then Philadelphia will instead convey its 2015 2nd round pick and 2016 2nd round pick to Miami [Miami-Philadelphia, 6/28/2012]

So if it's still a lottery pick in 2015, it won't be conveyed, but it'll still be a decent 2nd rounder. And another in 2016.

That philly pick is top 15 protected in 2014 and 2015, right?... and then it becomes a 2nd rounder:

Quote
Philadelphia's 1st round pick to Miami protected for selections 1-14 in 2014 or 1-14 in 2015; if Philadelphia has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Miami by 2015, then Philadelphia will instead convey its 2015 2nd round pick and 2016 2nd round pick to Miami [Miami-Philadelphia, 6/28/2012]

Edit:  N/m... Lucky covers it above me.

DA must be smiling.  Buzz that the defending champs are eyeing JC has to have a positive effect on his value.

I think that JC, Sully, Lee, Bradley and Bass have all improved their trade value over the past 2 months.  Green probably too, expecially over the last month as he's proving to be more consistent and more aggressive.  Olynik, Humphries and Vitor also have value, not to mention the bevy of picks.   Danny may decide to be patient, but he has to be very pleased at the steadily growing value of his players.
Thank Brad Stevens

How about

Bass, Lee, Crawford

for

Anthony, Battier, Jones, Lewis, Mason Jr.

I believe this works starting tomorrow
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Crawford, Green, Bass, Lee, Bradley, Faverani and Wallace
for Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Chalmers, Ray, Battier and Birdman.

……and that's just the beginning.

We don't need Bosh at this stage in his career unless we can win now, and we can't.

Assuming the cHeat are willing to move Bosh (and i think that's a big assumption) we would need a 3rd team involved to give us some young assets/picks and who wants to compete NOW.

Houston is one such team that comes to mind. How's Howard/Bosh//Harden for a big three?

Houston gets Bosh and Cole.
cHeat get Hump, Bass and Crawford
Cs get Asik/Lynn and 2-3 of these 4: Smith, Jones, Parsons, Montejunas and/ or picks.

Any other teams out there that Bosh would elevate to contender status and has young assets/picks that woul interest us? Suns, Chicago, Cavs?

Pretty sure LB was joking.

You'd have to be smoking drugs to think Miami would move Bosh for that.

The Heat don't have trade assets to make a deal like this.
