So it's no secret Crawford is panning out extremely well, once Rondo returns do you believe Crawford will continue to produce with a reduced role?

Also what would be an acceptable return for JC in a trade? Personally, I wouldn't even trade him for anything but a mid first round pick. He's still a few years before his prime and I'm curious to see if he can model his career after Jamal Crawford.

Thoughts?
You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into.

The key to Crawford will be determining how well he can mentally handle coming off the bench.  He did not handle it well in Washington.

I think he may be best suited to being a stop-gap starter who teams bringing for a year to cover for an injury or to give a young player time to develop, but maybe Stevens can get through to him and make him accept a combo guard role off the bench.

Depending on the money he'd be the best backup pg we've had since Rondo became the starter. The question is, do you want a good 1-2 backup, or a weaker backup pg and a stronger 2-3 backup. If you went with Crawford you'd ideally want a backup forward who could play pf or sf.

is he a restricted or unrestricted free agent this offseason?

If he continues to play well and we bench him for Rondo, he'll probably sign somewhere in the summer where he can start.

Does Bradley come off bench?
Is Bradley resigned or moved in trade?

I like the idea of crawford 1st guard off bench but to me ainge is keeping rondo and every other backcourt guy can be traded just depends on deal.  Crawford (the good one) has been doing a great job, hopefully the bad crawford is gone, maturity could make him a 6th man of year candidate.  His outside shot could be used with starting team when rondo is back but his ability to create his own shot might make him a better backup for rondo.  Both guys can break down a defense and make offense for the team out of beating their man.

I feel weird saying this but, what if we just start him next to Rondo? Move Avery to the sixth man role. The kid can score and make plays for other, but the one thing we've been missing is someone who can flat out score maybe Craw is the guy. Avery has been playing well too and is the best perimeter defender on the team, so it might be a per night basis.

If a coach really wanted to win and reward good play he'd move to SG and AB would sit.  He is a better PG than AB and a better shooter, AB can defend better but that is about it.

I think Ainge declined his option. (From memory).

The C's didn't give him an extension, he will still be a restricted FA though.

Rondo has one position.  Bradley has one position.  Crawford has two positions.  I would rather stress defense in the starting line-up and have the multi-positional guy come off the bench, so I would prefer to start Bradley and have Crawford come off the bench.

I would like JC to be the 1st guard off the bench but then what happens to Courtney Lee's minutes? Or do we trade Avery Bradley (don't like that idea). Then we can't find minutes for Marshon Brooks and Kieth Bogans. Somebody is getting traded here.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I bet he's traded by the deadline for a first round pick.

yes, its a little sad, those young guys playing very well, and its easy to get attached to this team, but some of them are nothing more then trade chips.

Rondo (34)/Crawford (14)
Bradley (25)/ Crawford (11)/ Lee (12)

Something like that.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson
