Just wondering if anyone else saw Ainge sitting courtside scouting with Tim Hardaway (Heat scout) right next to him.

Thought it was interesting to see Ainge at the game. Not really sure which players he would want to check out though.. I don't know much about UF basketball except from the game I saw. But UF's big man Patric Young looked like a beast in the post.

UConn does have some talent with their backcourt of Shabazz and Boatright.. but those are two small guards..

Regardless, it was interesting to see him there..maybe he wasnt scouting? I dont know haha.

GO UCONN!

UConn fan here. Would love to see us acquire a 2nd round pick to grab Shabazz Napier.

Great words from a great man

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Maybe he was just there to watch an awesome game. Cuz that's what I did from my couch.

Maybe he is playing the long game here.  Florida and Connecticut have three players in the 2015 mock draft at Draft Express.  That doesn't include ineligible freshman Chris Walker.

Husky fan here as well...

Napier is absolutely carrying that team this season. A 6' PG who leads the team in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals? Crazy...just crazy.

Unrelated UConn note, I loved the signing of Ollie as the new coach last season. I love it even more this season. He understands the UConn tradition, he understands the work ethic it takes to reach the NBA, and he carries himself perfectly. I always refer to him as 'Reverend Ollie'...He has a tough, serious demeanor that I think rubs off on his players - especially Napier. I think it is no coincidence that the Huskies have pulled out a number of close victories this season.

I am excited to see how he does in the recruiting game over the next couple seasons once he can put his own fingerprints on the roster. Any success UConn achieves this season will only benefit them in attracting recruits. 2013-14 success? Check. History of sending players to the NBA? Check. Great coach who cares about my personal well-being as well as my basketball well-being (a Calhoun trait)? Check. Come to UConn 4 and 5 star recruits!

8-0 and ranked #12! Go UConn!
