You either have to be smart in terms of basketball IQ or a great athlete.

I think of Rondo, LeBron, Bird and Kidd all great basketball IQ guys.  Two of them are out of this world athletes.

It usually takes a high basketball IQ to get these.   Look at Rondo, LeBron and Bird all triple double threats and all high basketball IQ.   Who knew JC had a such a high basketball IQ.   You have to anticipate rebounds, see the floor and team mates and score.

The best thing the Celtics ever did with Jordan Crawford was not giving him that 4th year. It's motivated him to play for a contract. If he keeps playing at this level the C's should be able to swing a 1st for him and Bass. Or maybe use him as a way to get Wallace off this team.

I would be thrilled if the celtics could pull a first round out of a jc deal. However, even if he's playing this well right now I don think rival gms will be interested, plenty of players put up numbers on bad teams.

By himself? Probably not. With Bass? They should be able to get a 1st and an expiring. Or they could use Crawford to perhaps dump Wallace. That's if he keeps it up

I'd probably expect two seconds and an expiring.  To get a first, you might have to take back a non-expiring contract of an end-of-rotation player.

kind of reminds me of last year, when john wall was out crawford played the point and put up some decent numbers including a triple double. wall comes back and jc gets benched, completley. i cant see jc taking being benched too well when rondo gets back.. i guess he could fill the 6th man role playing both guard positions

Jordan Crawford getting the Jeff Green/Rodney Dangerfield treatment from some of you guys... no surprise I guess.

I've never disliked jc but I've grown to really like him since he's been on the c's so i wouldn't mind keeping him as a backup guard if he keeps playing the way he is when rondo's back

Love how he's playing but I still don't think he's the long term solution at backup PG. All is forgiven if he keeps playing like this and nets us anything of value in trade of course.
