Nets are under a ton of pressure .    They don't have years to grow into a championship team .   In my mind this is the  only year that  they have with our old Celtics to get a title.

I think Nets fans have to realize ,   DWill , Lopez , Blatche , Johnson , the young guys have to stay on the court  and CaRRY the team.   .........Terry, Pierce, KG are backups ........we saw they were past their prime a we struggled to stay 500 ball

If the Nets young players don't sTay on th court ,  they are doomed .......old dudes can't carry the team

Kidd should b fired ......he is worthless

Agree.  Pierce and KG off the bench.  Though right now with all the injuries it may not be possible or matter...

I have had strong feelings that KG and Pierce were already depressing me due their declines. I prefer to see their wheels fall of elsewhere.

Another plus - no title in NJ means nothing can replace 2008 for them.

Which means, they come back to Boston, take the Vet's min, and then, play the Sam Cassell/PJ Brown roles, when we're contending for number 18.

- Kidd should just resign as coach and suit up again. He is alot more valuable on the court for this hurting team

- Lopez is a HUGE loss.

- KG and PP should not be starting. Let them come off the bench and likely finish the game instead

- The OWNER must be seriously pizzed off. Come trade deadline, if the team still sukks, he will fire Kidd, and trade everyone not named Lopez, Johnson.  Can't believe Williams makes 20 plus million. What a bum

Doesn't matter. Their minutes are in the 20s. The problem is they seem to have 4 guys in the starting lineup that are too old to be alpha dogs, and Lopez is not cut for the role. Whoops.

I'll give them Wallace and Humphries for Pierce and Garnett...

...but the draft picks stay!

Sad to see to favourites decline so much this year. Great deal thus far for the Celtics as it looks like it should give us some great pieces.

It's early but its a slam dunk that we fleeced them in the trade. However, that fact that this next summers pick is either ATL's or the Nets may REALLY hurt. The Nets may win 35 or less and be worse than us. I don't think Atl will be under 500.

Oh, and I have read most of the posts over there and also read what KG and PP are saying. Celtics fans put up with those two SLEEPWALKING through most regular season games for YEARS, after KG's injury. It was disgusting. Remember KG telling the fans not to come to games when they booed a few years ago? Well I do.

I loved KG and think that he should have won at least two titles here and falling short was NOT his fault. Injuries, Doc, Danny, ownership may be to blame but not KG. But the terrible habits he and PP developed the last 4 years have come home to roost

I still think that the Nets will get it together.  They've got a lot of knuckleheads on their roster, but I believe in Pierce and KG.  Their current shooting percentages are a fluke.

Their shooting percentages one way or another is not the reason they're losing though. The team's defense is quite poor, the team is unhealthy, and their main guys who should be carrying their team are either inconsistent, injured, or both... and I don't count Pierce and KG in that group.

I'm not seeing much light at the end of the tunnel for this guys, just because even if they put it all together chemistry wise, I just don't trust the health of that team.

I think unloading Carlisimo was a bad move after he did a pretty decent overall job last season.  Key new players and a new inexperienced head coach - that's a lot to have to deal with especially with their alleged star PG under-performing.
