It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

anyone?

He hobbled off the dressing room after the game. He prob has a nasty swell this morning.

I'd be surprised if he plays tonight.  He could be out for a week imo.

This is a chance for Humphries to shine

per celtics twitter

Kelly Olynyk (right ankle sprain) and Keith Bogans (ill) did not travel with the Celtics to Atlanta for tonight's matchup with the Hawks.

no biggie....hopefully this will be the 11th loss of the season.  Hopefully he takes his time to heal, ankle injuries can linger for awhile...

Ugh!  Hopefully Sully will be ready to go tonight.

I thought Sully was out with the flu or something?

Not good that he reportedly had substantial swelling almost immediately. Would guess you're looking at 2-3 weeks out of action. Probably the high side knowing how cautious the C's are, and with our highest ceiling rookie, and a non contending team this year, why rush him. It does bum me out, however, as frustrating as his play generally has been so far, seeing him, Vitor, Sully, and Pressey develope is why I've been enjoying the games this year--despite losing.
With Vitor recently exiled to the bench and KO out, and even Sully possibly not playing, I'm not getting too excited about watching our marginal vets/trade chips on the road against a suprisingly good Hawks team.  Probably won't be pretty!

Possibly, I just thought I read somwhere that he was suffering from some kind of cold or illness?

I was looking fwd to having KO back tonight.

Any guesses as to when he will be back in the lineup?

Stevens said he looked fine in practice. No public complaint by olynyk either. So how are these trainners figuring out he is not ready?

Any medical experts that can chime in?

High ankle sprains may take weeks, and it's different depending on the severity. Not an exact science.

In any case, can't say I'm particularly anxious to see Olynyk back, he could use a stint in the D-League at this point.

Normally I have no problem agreeing with you.  This time I agree with you, buy really don't want to.  I also think KO needs a stint in D League.  He hasn't quite caught on to the need for aggression in his position, IMO.  D League might help him with that.

I disagree with both of you.  I think he'll learn more and develop faster by getting minutes in the NBA.
