Pressey is an enormous liability offensively.  He moves the ball better than Crawfish, but he can't shoot or finish inside and he gets out of control pretty often.

Until Pressey develops some kind of offensive game, he's not an NBA-caliber player.  Guys that small need to be able to shoot.

I don't remember the player hate being so focused when it was Pierce and KG bricking long 2's and Perk was failing to finish at the rim.

  Those were all seen as signs that Rondo wasn't bringing it that game.

  I posted in a recent game thread that watching Crawford at pg makes me wish they could bring back Marbury. But Pressey isn't the answer.

Not only that, but Pressey struggles to deliver passes due to NBA length. He's good for one or two backcourt turnovers a game due to long arms it seems. And those are just free dunks for the opposition usually.

Pressey played the last 15 minutes of the game, ala garbage time. That's where the majority of his production occurred.

He generates better ball movement, that doesn't mean he's a better offensive option at guard.

He's just not a threat to score himself, is worse defensively than Crawford (ouch), and generates fewer assists and more turnovers.

You claim he "runs the offense better" but last night (granted I only watched half of the second half) all I saw Pressey do was jack up threes that didnt come close to going in.

It's impressive that Pressey was +16 playing mostly when we were down 35... No, not really. Believe it or not, the score actually matters here.

Might be one of the saddest threads in a long time on Celtics Blog. I have read at least twice that Jordan "The Clown" Crawford has been the best player on the team this year.
