He had his best Kobe imitation going on tonight.    .....except Kobe makes enough to get by with gunning.

Any shot Bradley takes is Bradley shooting too much.

Based on the Bradley point guard experiment, shooting the ball is probably a better option than passing the ball, in his case.

The problem is we have a bunch of good bench players starting. The only honest starters I see on this team is Rondo and he's not even playing! Our whole first team right now should be a dangerous SECOND team on a "real" team.  We have mush...a bunch of "stuff" put together to feed us because we have nothing else to eat right now. Sad but it is what it is.  The sad thing with Bradley is that he's not a very good shooter. Hell he's not even a good shooter. He's average at best.

I'm going with Stevens system. AB has the green light when open and when the shot clock is running out. Idk why but I really doubt he is putting those shots up all on his own, Bradley isn't a selfish player. He has learned better.

I'm all for him shooting. Doesn't matter anyway when no one else will shoot. Atleast he's trying to put the team on his back.

I wish green had that mentality, hell I wish gerald wallace would take more than 5 shots a game

Reguardless it's a wash year, idc who shoots we still are not winning over 30 games.

This was posted in the post-game comment section from gburtona:

Take a look at these stats from the last 5 games for Avery Bradley -

In the last 5 games Avery has logged a total of 136 minutes. In that span he has taken an incredible 73 shots, had 11 TO’s and incredibly has managed to garner a grand total of ZERO ASSISTS!!!

He's really taking the "shooting" guard title seriously

Zero assist doesn't surprise me for bradley

Yep.  Every time he shoots is a time he doesn't pass the ball to the other team.

So I'm about to start a thread about Bradley's horrendous shooting—tonight, and for the season—when I see this thread. Wild.

I came into this season not expecting much, so I haven't gotten worked up yet—until tonight, though only just a bit.

He's shot poorly nearly every game this season. And 22 shots tonight? While Green took only 7? Is Green really that passive? Is Bradley really that confident?

I understand youth, and experimenting with lineups and trying out different players as "go to" guys, but is Bradley ever going to significantly improve his shooting? And are Green and Wallace ever going to be assertive on offense?

And are Green and Wallace ever going to be assertive on offense?

If the team is going to take a lot of shots that shouldn't be taken, Green and Wallace probably aren't going to be doing much of that shooting.  If Green and Wallace are unsuited for the role of ball-dominant wing who is a primary scoring option, then they probably aren't going to force a square peg into a round hole and try to play that role anyways.

That's why I think Green is better off trying to develop his defense and three-point shooting rather than driving to the basket more often.

Honest opinion: Avery seems to be thinking about his next contract. Its like he's screaming "I'm not just a defender, I can be an offensive force too!" except that last part really isn't working out like he'd hoped.

same here...
I think he's shooting his way out for a new contract
but being a chucker will only hurt him

It's worth at least pointing out that he's shooting 45% for the season. Kind of impossible that he's been aimlessly chucking all the time.
