He always has to have something to say.  Talk about LeBron, Kobe, everything.  I mean I'm sure the media goes to him but do you see Bird discouraging a player like LeBron? No, he praises him.

It's over the top.

Just stick to trying to figure out how to run a team because you sure haven't done it yet.

Not really. MJ ignoring Bird is what you'd expect, as Bird's Celtics ruined MJ's young career. Jordan only got to win when the 80s big teams got old or injured (Pistons, Celtics, Lakers, Sixers, Rockets...), so it's not that strange that MJ doesn't want Bird around him.

What's outrageous is MJ leaving Bill, Wilt and Kareem also. Come on, be respectful to the history of the game... it's just as stupid as when LeBron chose number 6 because number 23 should be retired because of the greatness of MJ ::) But nobody should be mad at MJ, we all know he's an idiot.

Bird owned him when they played head to head.

Not like Jordan knows basketball ( he could play it) but look at his GM record.  Hint, it's abysmal.

Didn't Bird spark one of these pseudocontroversies last year by saying he preferred Kobe to LeBron as a teammate because Kobe had a killer instinct that LeBron lacked?

Anyway, this is a video game promotion, right?  Not exactly like Jordan went out of his way to announce this, it's just silly fluff to sell some games.  Can't see how this is any kind of a big deal.  Let the guy have whoever he wants on his made-up pickup team.

No what's outrageous is that you are getting offended on MJ answering a question about his personal team. It's his team not YOURS he can have whoever he wants just like how you can have whoever you want even if it's Scalabrine, etc.

Maybe he meant picking up the ladies?

I've leave Larry off that team too.

I'm bringing Magic, Clyde, Wilt, and Reggie Evans (I'm not trying to get the least attractive lady in the group).

Ice Man starts on either team

Yup

Not mad per say, but I find his antics silly.

Antics?  It's not like he interrupted Sportscenter on a dirtbike and started shouting out his all-time pickup game team.  Dude was asked a question, and he answered it.

And to those of you that don't want to hear from Michael Jordan, here is a news flash:  MJ is almost universally considered the greatest basketball player of all time.  People are going be asking him questions for a long, long time.  If you don't want to hear it, I'd suggest getting a condo on the moon.

And is it really that far-fetched to think that maybe he is just going by the players that he actually played with or against?

The ability for people on the internet to pout about everything will never cease to amaze me.

I want to hear Bill Russell's personal pick-up team.

As great as he was, he's a very insecure man.  He's not the first, he won't be the last.
