Anyone else see Nikola Vucevic Destroy the Clippers?

Jordan went for 9 and 19 and Griffin went for 23 and 13 and Jordan even added 4 blocks.  It wasn't like they got killed.

He hasn't stepped out of what he is or anything, but so far I think Doc has done very well with Jordan.  Still work to do on D, but he is playing very hard and making the most out of his abilities.

Here is THE issue with Doc and the Clips.

Through 5 games so far, only 7 Clippers have played in all 5 games and only 7 Clippers are averaging more than 15 minutes a game.  Last season, 11 Clippers averaged 15 or more minutes a game.

This team is trying to win in a completely different way under Doc and I don't know if they're good enough to do it.

as much as I like to see Doc and the Clippers fail, I have to start wondering how good the Magic really are now. It's still early, but they beat the Clippers and the Nets already.

No Odom to be a reliable backup PF/C and no Bledsoe.

Yes,  it was beautiful thing .


Doc rotations pretty much is a small force of vets he trusts , he doesn't move from that comfort zone often.


They won't win a title this year.

Right but Odom was the third big man playing 20 MPG.

So subtract one body from the rotation right there. Collision is getting 7 minutes less than Bledsoe too.

Griffin/CP3/Reddick are getting 2 or 3 more minutes than the starters last year.

So you're down to 10 players averaging 13 minutes per game. Losing your 3rd big man and your elite backup PG mean the remaining talented players are playing more.

Griffin and Jordan are terrible defenders. Not good. Not average. Terrible.

That isn't Doc's fault. That is why good bigs can shred this Clipper team. And that is why the Clippers are not going to the finals.

Throw CP3 in any team ,  like even the current Celtics and we would be like 4 and 1 .......he just  seems to have the knack of getting everybody playing well .

Without CP3 the  Doc doesn't do alot for that team any other , decent coach couldn't.   Without CP3 , Doc Shivers would have never went there , he'd ran for cover behind a mic .
