2SHORT SAID....if lee could start hitting his shots

That's the problem, he sucked all last year and what you saw in this last game is all he has. him and brooks aren't worth the time and effort!!!

I don't get the hate. Especially in the context of this thread. ???

Lee's been playing well in the 4 games and has been one of our better guards along with J-Craw, which is unexpected. Definitely better than Brooks and arguably even AB.

Edit:
Was referring to Lee when I said I don't get the hate.

Lack of defense.   I would say.   He reaches not slides his feet.  Guys who are not playing might be getting owned in practice too.

I had really high hopes for Brooks when we traded for him but after watching him play it's pretty clear that he is a one trick pony.  His defense is atrocious.

He also stops the ball on offense.

They weren't kidding when they said he's a talented scorer and nothing else.

In stark contrast, Jordan Crawford brings energy (sparked a huge run against the Grizz yesterday), runs the offense and can isolate just as well as Marshon does. Plus Craw has been very efficient so far, pre- and regular season.

His one tricks isn't very good either.

All three bring something different to the table and if I had to make the decision of who goes and who stays it would be very difficult.....

1) Brooks...As you say, he is a one trick pony.  he's a shooter, period.

2) Lee... Good defense but the guy is a hit and miss shooter. when he's on   he's good but when he's off he's horrible.

3) Crawford...sometimes he is just out of control and tries to do too much.

Lee has been around and really showed nothing last year. Brooks has not seemed to grasp the opportunity to prove himself, so for me, I would keep Crawford and dump the other two or try and package them with Hump and Bass for a draft pick or another young piece that fits this team.

Until Brooks shows he can shoot a three pointer at a rate above 30 percent he really has no value.  He isn't like LeBron James going to the rim or anything.  And he sure isn't a defender.

He is extremely flawed. He won't be an NBA player for long unless that changes.

Marshon should be getting some time to play.
This is ridiculous. He has massive talent.

It seems Marshon Brooks got drafted at a bad time when two teams (Nets/Celtics)were going through some changes and Brooks became like a pawn caught up in the middle with both the Nets and Celtics not being able to give him the minutes he needed to prove himself. he was on the wrong team at the wrong time.
His best bet is probably to catch on with another team that affords him the minutes to either make it or break it!!!

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

This is ridiculous. He has massive talent.

One team gave him some playing time, then buried him on the bench and gave him away as a throw-in to a much bigger deal.  Now one of the worst teams in the league is burying him on the bench, and would probably trade him for basically nothing, but no one's seeming to even sniff around at the idea.

If he has massive talent he's successfully hidden it from a lot of knowledgeable people.
