I think Avery's legacy , will be a ENERGY defensive stopper off the bench, special role player to help change the game at critical moment . Hopefully he can be more Jason Terry like and have a deadly jumper to,add to his game.
But as a starter, he lacks the ability to initiate the play, slow to get the half court offense going, very poor finisher , he misses tons of easy plays .
He lacks uncle drews ability to and craftiness to create and handle the the ball under extreme pressure and double teams.
He is totally out of position at starting guard . He is fun to,watch at times , but frustrating. Seeing him trying to do Rondo type plays and run the offense.
I glade DA didn't sign him to a huge contract, I think with all our picks over the next three years , we should be able to, land an overall better couple guards .
I think, right now they're just seeing wAHT they have evaluating the players for future trades and moves .
