Imo the Starting lineup should be

Sullinger-Olynyk-Wallace-Green-AB

It's the best Stevens could put out there

Nothing as frustrating as guards that can't make an entry pass to the post.

I still have no idea what the roles for each player are or who will start and who is in the rotation from what I've seen from Stevens so far.

Shouldn't we be trying to get a set rotation by now?
Well said.  Perhaps there is no se rotation or defined starters because the team is loaded with mediocre players of about the same talent level.

Roster needs some work.  Crawford/Brooks - choose one.  Bass,Lee, Bogans - none in long-term plans.

Agree with both comments.....this worried me the whole game......but I guess coach knows his stuff

I like the plays they run and the aggressive style. I just don't like most of the players out there. This team, under Ainge, seems to always be lacking depth at pg and 7 footers.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Thos are the two hardest positions to get quality players. As a result we have a bunch of combo guards and power forwards. Stevens has his work cut out for himself.   I say go uptempo to cover the weaknesses.

I agree we have a lot of weaknesses on the roster, particularly lack of legit centers and point guards. Stevens has to set a starting 5 and a rotation though. I would go with benching the players who are not part of the future in any way and not likely to net any trade value (Bass, Lee, Bogans, Crawford).

We have one legit center in Faverani, so invest now in developing him. Pressy is the only legit pg besides Rondo, so start him.

Pressy
Bradley
Green
Sullinger
Humphries (until Faverani is ready to take over)

off the bench:

Wallace
Faverani
Olynyk
Brooks (until Rondo comes back)

Just don't see KO starting. Fav is 25 and is more experienced including years in Europe. In the post game, Stevens had good things to say

Faverani - Sully -Green - Wallace - Bradley

Exactly .....need a starting quality center to anchor the inside D.  And our point guards back

This team in order to gain draft picks is just a hodge podge  of players....... Not really built as a true team yet.

Brad Stevens ....welcome to the NBA ..... Where stars rule

Unfortunately, I think Stevens has "set" a "rotation": Bradley, Lee, Green, Bass, Sullinger. At most, you may see Wallace instead of Green. It's an excellent job of putting together the worst squad with the least upside  ::)

Sullinger has no business starting. He's overmatched by bigger players, and is developing an unhealthy penchant for the three-point brick. Faverani is ready to start right now.

Sullinger has tailed off in the past two or so games, but he was probably the best player during the first half of preseason.  He's firing those 3s because Stevens told him to take them.

Not sure who told you that. Unless there's confirmation, I will consider it exactly as likely that he's taking them because he's chosen to lurk on the perimeter for the most part of half-court possessions.

Also, I've got no idea where you're getting the "first half of the season" part. Sullinger has now played in  games, and 4 or 5 of them have been stinkers. He strung 2 good games together in the middle of the preseason, but that's about it.

This has to stop. Start Olynyk now.
