2 Vintage Jeff Green lay ups in the first quarter, is this real life?

Nope, it's preseason...a good performance doesn't count

So why has everyone been giving up on him and critising him based on preseason performances ? I mean it goes both ways no ?

I was being sarcastic. I know Green will turn it up in the regular season.

That's kind of funny, as I was being sarcastic as well, in response to everyone who claims his bad performances in the preseason don't count.

Personally, I'm of the opinion they all matter.  I'm also of the opinion Green is nothing more than a slightly above average player, and am not at all a fan of his.

If anybody's looking at Green to be the next Paul Pierce of this team, or the next savior, they will be severely disappointed.
He is suited as 2nd or 3rd option on a team.
Borderline all star, has all star tendencies and flashes here and there

But I am a huge fan of his.

agree, paul when he matured is one of the best offensive players to ever play for the celtics
not really fair to green to think he can replace pierce
he'll bring a different game and hopefully add the pieces

2nd or 3rd option on what type of team? Certainly not a championship contender. Dwade/Bosh, Jason Terry/Tyson Chandler, Gasol/Bynum, KG/Ray Allen - those have been the 2nd/3rd options on the the last few championship teams. Saying Green is capable of that is generous at this point.

Sullinger is having a rough night against Pekovik. He should not be playing center against bigger players.

Our interior defense is non-existent. We will need to get legit minutes from Faverani as the season progresses or pick up another legit center.
