Does the math work? Does it squeeze enough extra space under the car to bring back a Jason Colling type body on the vet min? Too lazy to ring up the trade machine so I do not know.  If does save a little extra cash then that is a secondary reason for the trade. Anyway the primary reasons for the Celtics is they tidy the PF rotation a bit and get a legit back up Point guard. For Chicago...well Bass has a nice jumper, work ethic and could give them tactical flexibility if they want to go small from time to time. Thoughts?

As much as I would love it, it doesnt work through the trade machine and Chicago doesn't have much else to trade to balance off the salaries. Would have to add more players to the deal.

Plus not sure how Chicagos feelings on Bass would be with Boozer and Gibson already taking up much of their PF minutes.

I think Chicago really would rather have a wing player, especially a shooting guard. Courtney Lee is not that player but maybe a combination of Avery Bradley and Keith Bogans would work for them.

I have not checked this on the trade machine.

Turns out he's a 4 million expiring. Swapping for Bogans should work I think.

Bass, Lee to Chicago
Boozer to Washington
Okafor to Boston

Whatever other players that may be needed to get all 3 teams to do it, though that works financially and seems to make sense for all 3 teams (though it does increase Boston's payroll this year so it may not work for that reason).

First trade: Chicago needs PG insurance and Bass doesn't help them with anything with Boozer and Gibson on the roster.  They've got Mike James now, but they might be more interested in trading away Teague than Hinrich since they're trying to win sooner than later and Teague requires some more development.

Moranis' trade: Boozer isn't a center and Nene prefers playing PF more so than center.  Washington doesn't do it, especially considering they've already got a glut of power forwards.  As stated, Chicago has no need for Bass, though Lee might be useful as a backup or even replacement for Jimmy Butler if they go through with trading Deng and slide Butler over to the 3.

Washington doesn't have a glut of PF's and Nene is fine at center in today's NBA.  With Okafor always being hurt and Washington really needing an interior scorer I think they would at least consider this trade, of course I think Chicago might be more inclined to just do the trade straight up.

With Noah and Rose being relatively young, the Bulls might not be in a 'win now at all costs' mode.

Jerebko is a PF.  Nene is a PF.  Seraphin is a PF.  Harrington is a PF.

And I didn't say Nene can't work at C; I said he prefers playing PF.  His own words.  He doesn't like the physical play center requires.

I don't think we need Bass, he was great next to KG, but only competent without him.  Hinrich, I would not mind seeing, he always plays hard on both ends and is scrappy.  This trade works according to Real GM.  Here are some thoughts though to consider:

1) We do not need a Collins type with Vitor.
2) Can Jordam Crawford do the same things Hinrich would?

They've reportedly already started shopping Teague:

Teague for Marshon Brooks works!!  We get a back up PG to develop and get rid of a shoot first, never pass SG!!  Chicago NEEDS a SG.

Get her done Danny.

Nene would play center if they brought in Boozer as for the rest of those guys, they aren't very good.  Boozer is without question the best player of that group (aside from Nene who would play center).
