Pierce still talks about Boston very often, while KG barely said anything about Boston.

Is KG bitter? or he just moved on

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.

KG isn't bitter... You gotta understand KG moved on from Timberwolves the moment he got traded. KG is now used to this, but he has to remain professional as possible. Realistically the two of them would've wanted to retire in the Celtics if they could, but they both know chasing after the championship is just as important for any NBA player.

Pierce is still sad about his departure, so its completely understandable.
"I bomb atomically, Socrates' philosophies and hypotheses
Can't define how I be dropping these mockeries."

Is the glass half-full or half-empty?
It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

KG takes not showing other teams any weakness seriously. Being too nostalgic about the C's would count.

KG didn't spend his entire career here. He's less sentimental about it. That's just his m.o. He's 100% into talking about his current team. Its nothing personal. When he finally retires, I suspect he'll talk very fondly about his time in Boston.

true, which is why it makes him one of the true professionals. Also understandable for Pierce because he spent his entire career in Boston.

I hope that one day when they retire they'll be back in Boston

Still hasnt sunk in that Pierce isnt going to playing for Boston this season. I just dont know how I am going to react to seeing him not on our squad and in another uniform. I just cant grasp it and will still be in disbelief when I see it.

Completely agree, I've been watching him lead my team year after year. Through the worst to the best, its hard to see him anywhere else. Although I have read somewhere that when he does retire he will sign a one day contract with Boston to retire there. I hope this happens. Boston means a lot to Paul, and obviously he means a lot to us as fans.

I do look forward to hearing the reception these guys get the first time they come back to Boston. I expect nothing short of a very long standing ovation, especially for Pierce.

Very long standing ovation. It's going to be emotional for everyone. I'm not sure the same will happen for Doc when the clippers come to town. But for sure nothing but love for Pierce and KG (oh, and jet too)  ;D
