Glad he's finally admitting it.

My opinion on Doc has done a complete 180 over this offseason. I grew up watching Doc at the head of my celtics and I loved the man. But now it seems like he has no devotion to his teams. He left the celtics, I understand that and I'm fine with it, but even now in LA interviews hes talking about how (a team they despise) the Lakers are the greatest franchise in sports. It just seems like he's lost his motivation to coach and be a part of a franchise.

Whoa when did he say that?

He also just said that the Clippers should be better than any team he ever coached  :P I understand that one of his jobs is to sell his team to the media and fans, but I bet some folks in Boston don't like that comment..lol

yea, I'm not too fond of that comment. I'm actually quite angry at that comment...best team he ever coached should be the 07-08 team that WON him a championship.

That's exactly how I feel, but I know what Doc's trying to do. He has a way with words and this will get that fanbase pumped.

I agree with him.  They SHOULD be better than any team he has ever coached.  But, they probably won't be.  They have a lot of talent, but they also have a lot of unused talent.  They would need someone like Jordan to suddenly reach his potential.  He would need Blake to start trying to make the smart play, rather than the highlight play.  etc.

That Clippers team has a TON of talent.  But, I just don't think they will reach their peak for some reason.

I don't see how people can think this is a better team than the 2008 Celtics.  That's a crazy to me.  Not that it's not a very good one in its own right.

Keeping an eye on the Clip's rebounding and defense will be very interesting this year

They are a great team, especially with the addition of JJ and Dudley. But I really don't think anyone can honestly say that they are better.
