After posting their highest win total since 1997 and making their longest playoff run since 2000, the Knicks have seen it fit to replace their general manager.

Former Madison Square Garden president Steve Mills — who oversaw the worst run in franchise history — will return to the Knicks to serve as president and general manager, the team announced Thursday, and as was first reported by ESPN’s Marc Stein. Grunwald will remain with the team in an advisory role.

At least it wasn't with Isaiah. Dolan is a putz (That's not an opinion)
"Because there are no fours."
-- Antoine Walker when asked why he shoots so many threes

"We're going to turn this team around 360 degrees."
-Jason Kidd

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
They should've never let Donnie Walsh go. The guy had an actual plan for the team, but they never let him complete it. If he had it his way they'd probably would've just signed Melo in free-agency for less, while holding on to the pieces they gave up for him. It would've been a stronger more flexible Knicks team.

How do you get into this situation, Jimmy Dolan? You're a fool!

Gotta say, I'm surprised at the Dolan hate. He's always struck me as a smart, driven owner who makes the right decision for the franchise 99.9% of the time, even in the face of criticism from the lamestream sports media. The kind every franchise would kill to have.
