Major props to Oregon vs Tennessee, UCLA v Wisconsin, Bama vs Tex AM, and last week's ND vs Michigan, and Miami vs Florida.   Nobody wants to see NFL vs Pop Warner any more. It's been done.  No more Enormous State U vs East Div Tiny State Fairfield Campus

This is kinda hilarious. Johnny Manzeil caught flak this year for partying too hard at the Manning Passing Academy and missing some meetings and practice, so apparently Papa Bear kicked him out, although others insist he was just sick, and Peyton said he hopes to see him back next year.

The Manning Academy costs campers between about $420 and $520 a day and lasts four days at Nichols State.  It's purpose is pretty clearly to make money. Obviously Johnny can't be paid a cent. Hey Mannings. You get what you pay for.

This Georgia / Tennessee game is one of the most exciting football games I've watched in a long time ... it's just so rare to find this kind of energy in the NFL.

Don't get me wrong, I love the NFL, but college football is so much fun to watch, especially these seeming mismatches.
