Being against HGH testing is a poor decision. Makes you look suspicious.

Exactly. As soon as I heard that he was against HGH I thought something was a bit fishy

CP3 is a great player but other than that I don't really like the guy.
Same here.  He seems like a selfish, whining, flopping jerk.

You forgot one more word for him. Ball punching.

It's like he went through puberty twice after being drafted

I can see the flopping and dress code issues, but any attempt to avoid HGH testing makes the players union lose all credibility especially now with all of the issues in MLB.

Officiating by player instead of rules...Overt flopping "addressed" at best, in jest....Previous players association president wouldn't honor his contract time after time...

They have a long long road to get to credibility.

Not saying he isnt on something, he very well could be. But you would be amazed at what 8 years of weights work can do to an individual

The dress code rule was, and is, ridiculous; designed as a way to make white folks feel 'safe' about rooting for black folks
That's got to be one of the most asinine things I've seen written here.

I agree.

He's acting in the players interest--like he should, as president of the players union.

The dress code rule was, and is, ridiculous; designed as a way to make white folks feel 'safe' about rooting for black folks, it's now backfired by the new wave of (to say it kindly) fashion forward NBA players.

Precisely....

got no problem with him going after the dress code. but the flopping and HGH stuff...both are problematic and make the players union look bad. i can understand pushing for a very transparent process for both (b/c i have little faith in emperor stern and his regime), but hopefully that's what he is trying to bargain for.

I very much like Paul taking up the HGH issue. To my knowledge, there is little to no evidence that HGH is harmful in any way that is more significant that the drugs which are currently allowed (eg the wide variety of pain killers used 'legally') in the locker room...This issue has been completely lost in the context of the baseball controversy, due to the steroid era, but HGH is not steroids...

Someones guilty of all three.. hahahaha.

What a joke.

He's clearly trying to protect himself and his group of friends.

Yeah this is my take.

Him and his friends all flop, sit on the fence of acceptable with "dress code" (which I have no issue with), and probably a few take some sort of illegal steroids. Not what I would want out of a players union president. Seems to send the wrong message already.

Most fans view taking performance enhancers to be cheating, they probably don't lose much sleep over the health risks to the athletes who take them.
