This isn't new, been doing it about a year, but I just found out about it.  You can "take" over 2000 MIT courses for free online.  You aren't in the school so you don't get credit, grades, etc., but all of the material is there so you can learn whatever you want from one of the world's premier math/science universities.

  There's websites with plenty of such courses, some of the ones I've looked at were pretty good. Like edx, coursera and udacity.

Thanks for the link...I will definitely browse through the selections. I used to use MIT online course material videos all the time when I was in undergrad for mechanical engineering. Great professors, concise and organized lectures, many encompassing examples...

I appreciate that they choose to offer material like this to the public. ESPECIALLY for free.

Coursera has really high quality courses in my experience. I haven't tried the others.
