It's possible but I'm going with what Danny says until he says different... he said when the season starts. I want RR to play when healthy, if he is ready when it's game one, put him out there! I don't care about what people say is the usual timetable, no one is alike so you can't say if he's rushing or not based on what others did/do! Either way, I'll be glad when he's playing again!
TP...not to mention the tear was partial, unlike some of the ACL injuries that have gone down that have been complete tears.

When he is healthy, play him. Its what he is being paid for and what Rondo wants to do.

I don't know if we'll ever see Rondo play for the Celtics again, honestly.  Humphries, Brooks and Wallace can't be packaged in deals until September 12th, right?  Any Rondo trade probably involves Wallace.  Still wouldn't be shocked to see Rondo dumped before the start of the season.

I didn't find anything on csnne.com regarding this. I bet it was just an opinion of a talking head on one of their shows.

I would be. I think if Rondo was going to be dealt, he would've been moved by now.

Maybe the Detroit rumors start back up again in February with Rondo/Wallace going to Detroit for Jennings and a bunch of expirings.

We get rid of TWO bad contracts. Rondo's and Wallace's.  ;)

Well I mean... i just remember Simmons suggesting that any trade involving Rondo would need to involve Wallace.  They'd use Rondo to dump Wallace's bad contract.  From what I understand, that isn't even possible until Sep 12th, right?

I wouldn't put too much stock in what Simmons says should happen with Celtic trades. He is a huge C's fan but I don't think he's too plugged in to what is happening in the C's front office. His reaction to the Garnett-Pierce trade during the draft is proof enough of that.

Rondo isn't going anywhere, no matter how much you would love to get rid of him so the C's could win 10 games this year.

I realize you're joking with calling Rondo's contract bad but what you're saying is why I wouldn't understand it. Trading our best player on a relatively good contract for salary relief, which would be the main compensation with Wallace as part of the deal, isn't what I expect Danny to be going for. If Rondo is being traded, I'd rather we get useful pieces to aid with the rebuild as opposed to using him as a way to dump Wallace's debilitating contract.

20 games without Rondo .....just another step closer to a lotto pick

Danny is gonna wait till somebody has a deal that he can not pass up , before he lets Rondo go,

Some team in need of point guard to contend will cave offer some awesome deal

I think he'll miss more than a month, but if he's 100% on opening night there's no reason he shouldn't be playing 40+ minutes.
