I don't see why it's a waste, I think it's a great resource to have in case injuries and game struggle happens. There's no drop off in production once the backup is been called to log in more minutes. Talents don't diminish, regardless of minutes.

And as for waiting, we are trying to win now, we'll do that trade after, we need those backups' talents to coast through the regular season, keep everybody fresh and compete in the playoffs.

CB Draft, where depth is overrated.

I certainly disagree depth is overrated in CB Draft when depth is one of the biggest reasons people are hyping Cleveland and Orlando right now. Again, in terms of quality talent, you gave up James freaking Harden so that Damian Lillard, a 2nd year player who had a ridiculous workload in his rookie season, is "the man" on your team... with who as the #2? The wildly inconsistent Greg Monroe who hasn't improved a single aspect of his game since entering the league?

Cleveland's getting hyped because of the excellent fit that its players have. We only have 8 players - no deeper than most of the teams here - but those 8 players cover every aspect of the game.

Yoki has a bunch of individually talented pieces, but the fit isn't there, IMO.

Random Question for Nick: Since I am picking first for tomorrow's round - can I make both of my picks this afternoon at the same time so all of the people who missed picks don't come back and steal the player I want? Or do I have to hold one off until the morning?

Definite value pick here, but I sense a trade coming with 4 SGs on the roster now. Rush can slide over to SF, but that still leaves Allen, Gordon, and Williams to fight over SG minutes.

You have to hold off.

Fair - but nonetheless a bummer.

People do not sleep on this Portland team. If Bynum comes back healthy, they may be the best collection of talent in the league

Is this the latest a #1 draft pick has ever gone in the CB Draft? I wasn't here for the early years but getting the #1 pick in the draft late in the 9th seems like pretty darn good value to me given he would be playing behind Carmelo Anthony.

You mean the fact that this team has a Center who loves to play high PnR, and excellent guard who can pass and score in variety of ways and a low post threat, with three (one off the bench) very good 3PT shooters opening up the floor,  is not "a fit"?

Real life Indiana has a team who's clogging the lanes more than this team does and they we're one win away to be in the Finals. Why can't this team, with a deep bench can't do the same. With Pat Riley as the coach too?

Okay day is over.

Please check the front page to ensure I have everything right with your team.

Please, teams that missed your picks, make them before the night is over or very latest, first thing tomorrow morning.

As of now the commissioner's office is still running the Thunder but I may have news regarding that later this evening.

Going to the pool. I'm done.

With the 25th pick in the 9th Rd, the Minnesota Timberwolves select CJ Miles

President/GM McHP Quote: "We are happy to add quality depth to our wing with our 9th round selection - CJ Miles. CJ is a versatile lefty scorer that also brings effort on the defensive end. His PER versus opposing shooting guards was 17.8 while opposing shooting guards had a PER of 5.6 against him. He is also a capable three point shooter as he made 126 of them in 65 games at a respectable 38.5% clip. He will likely spend the majority of his time at the shooting guard position due to his previous success and our need, but he is also capable of playing small forward. Welcome to Minnesota, CJ."
