Took Shumpert to really solidify my first team's defense. He's extremely athletic and has developed a very nice 3 pt shot. He's only going to get better, and I think he'll benefit a lot from Rubio's PG play in both transition and the half court.

I was really considering Wilson Chandler with 4.3, but he just has such a bad playoff and since I'm trying to contend I know the claws will come out once CB playoffs start and people are just going to try to attack you anyway they can.

I seriously disagree that Dirk is a "bad" defender. He really turned it around after Dallas brought in Tyson as his frontcourt mate, and his improvement in D was a big help towards them winning the title in 2011.

JV is slowly having a Dwight Howard impact IMO. He's become more imposing and still has a ton of room to grow. Excellent pick.

Definitely applaud you for the pick. JV's game is very similar to the Gasol brothers, and we all know how those two fared in the league.
