FTR, I was the guy Yoki was talking to that left him hanging. Right when we agreed to the trade I had a customer come in, and well, "Gimme a second, I got this fantasy draft thingy" isn't a valid thing to say.

Okay since i'm on the clock and there are no more offers I will select.

With the 4th pick in the 2013 CB Draft, the Mile High City Nuggets select...

James Harden

25 SECONDS LATE!

Seriously though, great pick. I'd arguably take him ahead of CP3 even. The SG is the shallowest position in the NBA today, and with age/injury catching up to the old guard, Harden should be unanimously considered the best player at that position. His scoring efficiency is crazy good...

He was actually 10 minutes late you are suppose to pick before your alotted time.

that was what happened the last 2 years IIRC, in case that franchise had to be put under new ownership.

yes:

Quote from: From the Rules post
5) If you miss a pick in the first two rounds the Commissioner will pick the best player available at his discretion and begin actively searching for a new GM for the team. You may contact the Commish and petition to remain in the game. In the event that a replacement owner cannot be found, the Commissioner will take over drafting duties until one is found.

I was giving him some extra time since I have the next 2 picks in hand for those GMs.

TRS has not been on since last night so he has another minute or so before I designate a player for him and then he better have a good excuse for missing a first round pick.

Okay, the next question now is...

Who wants James Harden?

Co-sign. Paul is the better player, but with so few difference makers at shooting guard, James Harden should make building out the rest of the Nuggets squad that much easier.

Of course, fun fact, for our first time GMs, he went 2.2 last year, something to keep in mind when four or five other GMs are holding court on your picks.

Oh, I misinterpreted the times then. I thought the time meant when you can start submitting your pick, not when your pick is due by.

With the 6th pick of the 1st round of the 2013 CB Draft the Dallas Mavericks select:

TONY PARKER

Those participating in the DKC league should be well aware on my stance on Parker: O-V-E-R-R-A-T-E-D

yeah and some dude named THE Walker Wiggle picked Anthony Davis 9 spots ahead of him.  8)
