If PMs can be shown you agreed to such a trade, the trade will go through.

That is an interesting new wrinkle. We've never had renege insurance before.
Only in last minute trade agreements where someone agrees to trade for another player last minute and then pulls out after the pick is made. It may not have been a part of the rules, but I think it a good deterent against doing such things.

How much I like this deal depends on what " agrees" means. What happens if I send multiple similar offers out and both people send in the quote of the initial offer?

Just a reminder -- to be confirmed by the commish -- but it CBD's past if you go past your time the next GM can pick.

So, with last-minute trades, you're much better off selecting the player your trade partner wants then submitting the deal with players instead of the pick.

Not sure if anyone here is evil enough to do this: but GM1 could certainly agree to a trade, have GM2 draft "GM1's guy" to prevent GM2 from picking "GM1's real guy" and then GM1 could back out and draft his real guy later.

I like the assurance nick is suggesting.

With the 4th pick in the 2013 CB Draft, the Mile High City Nuggets select...

James Harden

25 SECONDS LATE!

Seriously though, great pick. I'd arguably take him ahead of CP3 even. The SG is the shallowest position in the NBA today, and with age/injury catching up to the old guard, Harden should be unanimously considered the best player at that position. His scoring efficiency is crazy good...

Just a reminder from the rules post -- in case anyone forgot:

Quote
If you're pick is posted as happening at 11:20 am, then you have until 11:19:59 am to make your pick.  After that, the following person can jump in and pick.  If the person before you drafting picks at 11:05 am, you can make your pick right away.

Okay since i'm on the clock and there are no more offers I will select.

I very seriously considered Harden over CP3, but Paul has done it for 6 years straight, Harden for 1.
