  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
My guess 2 year second year non-guaranteed. Danny learning from what happened with Stiemsma.

Is there a rule that every Pressey post has that vid? I think I have seen it no less than 6 different posts.

Rondo will be the one gone.  Sorry guys, just can't see Danny keeping him.  Where there is smoke, there's fire, that's why I believe there is more to this Detroit story than people are leading on.  Detroit won't give up Drummond, but they may give up Monroe and since they can take back salary without having to match, then Wallace goes with Rondo as well.

I always did like Pressey and couldnt believe he wasnt pick in the 2nd round..I dont think he is a starter but could be an good career backup player
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I am fine with Pressey as 3rd string PG but I would like someone more reliable backing up Rondo ahead of him. Need a primary backup PG.

riiiight.... we loose our starting PG and get a 4th Center in our Roster.. pretty clever for DA

I think Pressey will have a solid career if he consistently gets up under opposing point guards on defense like he did in summer league. I would be shocked if any of the years are guaranteed.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

That would be a bad start for Danny and the new coach who said otherwise. Danny has been pretty vocal and it looks like the Celts are putting his face on things....no?

I would not trade Rondo for Monroe, I'm not so sure Danny would either.

Rondo is a top 2 player at PG, which may well be the most compoetitive position in the league at this time.  He is a guy who has the potential to make everyone around him better the way Jason Kidd did at all of his stops.

I'm not sure Monroe is even a top 5 player at center, despite the fact that center is probably the least competitive position in the league right now.

Monroe is a very nice player, but I see him as a bit of a Josh Smith type.  I don't think he's good enough to lead a team to a title, nor do I think he's necessarilly good enough to build around as the best player on a team.

Plus trading Rondo kills the chemistry on the team. Guys like Sullinger and AB who seem to love Rondo would likely be dissapointed as hell if he were traded out...and I just think we need a star PG more than a star big man right now.

Yea, like the smoke for KG last season and countless others seasons past?

I'm not saying it won't happen but I'm not going to agree about smoke and fire. When DA does trade people it doesn't really get out until it's pretty much a done deal.

Edit: That's why I believe Doc leaked the info to SAS!

1.  There are plenty of examples of smoke without fire in real life.
2.  This horrible analogy is made worse by using it for rumors.  Most rumors either have no basis in reality, or distorted so much that they bear little semblance to the truth.

I really wish people would stop saying there is no smoke without fire, let alone use it as justification for their opinions.

Well, eventually he got traded! Theory still valid!

Although not for DeAndre Jordan. And not to the Clippers. And not at the trade deadline. And there was no talks of Doc being traded of all things.

STILL VALID. KG GOT TRADED!

KG also hinted at retirement. More smoke.

Hypothetically, KG could retire this season after fighting for too long.

HYPOTHETICAL FIRE

So 2 instances of smoke and 2 fires. You're wrong about him being wrong!

 ;)

I'd wager my bottom dollar that if we wait long enough, Rondo will either be traded or retire! Too much smoke about him being locker room cancer too be false.

This is... let me not. So because it happens EVENTUALLY without being even remotely close to the time or even the same rumor, the smoke was still relevant to it? Quit! EVERYONE knew KG would leave some day and that it would be sooner rather than later, he is older! Makes no sense what you are arguing, to me. Sorry! That's like putting out a rumor that I'm going to die one day then when I die saying, yep, where there's smoke there's fire! 0.0
