My big issues with him...
1. He's had 2 good years in his entire career on 2 very bad Nets teams. The problem is his increase in numbers are almost solely due to an increase in minutes, as his per 36 numbers when he wasn't getting as much time are nearly identical. Some would say he struggled this year for whatever reasons, but in reality he went back to around his career averages in just about every meaningful statistical category.
2. He's never played more than 74 games in a season. In his career, he has played 67, 62, 60, 70, 29, 69, 74, 62, and 65 games in a year. Out of 722 possible regular season games, he's only played 558 (77%). For someone who is only 28 years old, that's not a very good trend.
However, his rebounding %'s are very very good. His defensive rating isn't too bad (career average 106) but the problem with that is, for most of his career, he's been going up against back up big men.
