I don't see the point in waiving a 1st round pick one year after being drafted, considering everyone knew he was going to be a project.

Besides, it's not like the C's have anyone significantly better in favor of Fab. Their Center situation is basically Fab, Iverson, Randolph, and Vitor. Let them battle it out in training camp.

Depressing center choices  Well if it has come to that, then I would rather see Bass or Sully play center.  ;D

I think if Bass and / or Sully are here on opening day, one of them will definitely be starting at center. Unless Faverani is the next great thing (and he actually looks pretty good), there's no way our current center prospects even sniff the starting line-up...there's always the outside chance of Humphries starting if he's still here.
