He is. He's also 25, so he's pretty much what he is.

Hard to see him an unexpressed phenomenon ... it's nothing that under than mediocrity ... Indeed ... I find it very scarce as figures for a player who will go overseas JUST 8.2 points 5 rebounds per game. What will be the personal impact of him playing in NBA??? Is that hard for DA to find better center among NBA free agents? Hollins? Mozgov? Brand? Or better give a chance more on Melo ???

Well, we know he can score against D2 college-caliber players. And he appears to like to stay far away from the basket, which we prefer in our bigs.

Looks like time/money well spent.  ::)

Does anyone know a link that shows his "real" height? In all of the film I see on him shows him very athletic but he didn't look like he was all that tall nor did he look like he had super long arms. However there really was no basis of comparison and I want to know if I am wrong.

Really hope Pressey and Iverson are on the roster.  Not sure how this all works out.
We're at 17 without Joseph at this point. Randolph is on a non-guaranteed deal.

To me this means that we'll end up cutting two from the lot of Pressey, Iverson, Faverani, Randolph, and perhaps Bogans (depending on how his contract is structured).

I think it's more likely that we dump Crawford and Melo on somebody.
I'd be shocked if we can get anything for this package.

I was thinking of something along the lines of the Daniels and Barbosa deals of the recent past.  Just dumping them.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

I eagerly await the first time he gets a rebound and Tommy compares him to Dave Cowens.

I also predict that at some point Tommy will pronounce his first name "Veetor" in a fake Dracula accent.

I hope Danny sends Melo packing; Faverani and Iverson look better.
Me too.  Everything after this year is team option on Fab, and this year's salary is 1,311,240, so he's essentially an expiring.

His 9pts and 5 rebounds are in only 17 minutes of action.  Those per 48 numbers are off the charts.  He'll compete for the 10-20 backup Center minutes.

In every video I've seen so far, Faverani looks like an actual basketball player with skills, vs just a really tall guy who can't play.

Trouble is he won't play 48 minutes because of conditioning issues and foul trouble.

I call BS on your claim.

this won't be NBADL talent so why not use his NBA stats.

I hope Fab doesn't see that "#BrazilianCenter #Celtics" is trending on Twitter, and get all excited for the wrong reasons.

I have not seen any evidence Faverani has conditioning issues.  Is there a reason to think that?

best clip to best portray his wingspan. Its ridiculous. Looks at least 7'3-7'4 or longer.

He looks strong, good timing, i like the way he runs the floor and looks like he dunks a whole lot (something sully/olynyk rarely does)

Can't get fully excited until we see him in nba action, but there is alot of promise.

He's never averaged more than 18 minutes per.  What makes you think he's playing 40 minutes?

As I said, he's competing for the backup role....10-20 minutes.

I don't agree, at 25 you have a few years left to improve. He hasn't played in the NBA so you don't know what he is yet. The training staff can help him improve if he is a hard worker, being away from family might give him a time to do a lot of working out/learning... if he can't speak English or very little, it will mean he wont be able to go out as much... sounds like a lot of time to be spent on learning and honing his NBA game.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)
